Circus Atari for Atari 2600 is entertaining action game controlled by analogue paddle controllers, which only increase the playability.

You controll the horizontal movement of a balance swing with the paddle controllers. There is a circus performer on one side of the swing and your mission is to direct the oposit end of the swing to another circus perfomer, who is falling from the top of the screen. Once you manage to do it and the second performer falls on the swing, the first performer is ejected to the air and now you are trying to direct the swing under his falling figure. The process is repeated over and over again. If you miss the performer, he'll fall on the ground and you'll lose him. You have a total of 5 performers - lifes.

The goal of this game is to crack all the baloons moving to the sides at the top of your screen. After you crack all of them, you move to the next round, which is always a little more difficult then the previous one. Try to collect as many points as possible.

After the game starts, you can switch the game difficulty or number of players with the SELECT button. Players in the two players game don't play simultaneously, but take turns. Each player uses his own paddle controller. First 6 game modes for two players game contain of 2 game spaces - each player has is own space. However, there is only one mutual game space for modes 7 and 8. This means that baloons cracked by player one won't reapear for player two.
